ERAKA CHILDS

Eraka Childs received her B.A. in Business in 1994 from Southwestern University and her J.D. in 1997 from South Texas College of Law. She was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1997. She also was admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Eraka has served on the Boards of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Lawyers Association, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, Southwestern University Alumni Association, the Fresh Arts Coalition, and numerous other organizations. She is dedicated to expanding the availability of legal assistance to financially disadvantaged individuals.
