Eraka L. Childs is an estate planning, probate, guardianship and family law attorney whose practice emphasizes helping people build, preserve and pass on their wealth.
As an experienced trial attorney, Eraka works with her clients to accomplish their goals while avoiding unnecessary court proceedings and minimizing or eliminating exposure to death taxes.
Her approach combines legal experience with a deep understanding of the importance of family, business, and the long-term protection of what clients have worked to build.
Born in Galveston, Texas, Eraka is a fifth-generation Texan. Her father, Samuel L. Childs, Sr., founded the law firm in which she is the principal shareholder.
Beyond her legal practice, Eraka is a frequent public speaker, an author, and a devoted mother. She hopes the hallmarks of her life will be public service, devotion to her Church, family and friends, zealous advocacy for her clients, and helping thousands of families generate and protect their wealth and legacies.
